Cost : $40.00 per person for most classes, OR $35.00 for payment received 3 days before class date. (Discount applies to gift vouchers too) Time: Saturdays and Sundays, either 10am - 12 midday or 1.00 - 3.00pm. Duration : 2 hours, including refreshment time. Gunyah Garden Tour - Feb 18 & 19, 2012 |

February 18 & 19, 2012, Karen's garden will be open as part of Open Gardens Australia, entry fee $6.00. There will be 3 guided tours each day, at 11am, 1pm and 3pm of Gunyah, with its over 150 plants grown for food and home medicine, in sunny and shady situations. The garden includes an Aquaponics set-up, growing fish to eat and vegies and herbs with their waste, also Old English Bantams chickens. See and taste some unusual produce plants, including perennial vegetables and native herbs. Be inspired to create your own Edible Eden! No booking is required for these tours. |

Learn to grow fresh herbs at your back door to enrich your cooking and well-being. We pick from the garden and taste test 15 herbs easily grown in Melbourne and consider their culinary uses, from well-known essentials such as Flat-Leaf Parsley, to lesser known delights such as Lemon Verbena.
