Spring greetings food gardeners!

Its time to get outside, prepare your soil and plant out your patch!

In Melbourne, plant artichokes, strawberries, asparagus, spring onions, asian greens, celery, leafy lettuces, mizuna, mustard leaf, potatoes, radish, silverbeet, snowpeas and rhubarb. As the weather warms, plant beans, corn, cucumbers, pumpkin, zucchini and tomatoes.

Edible Eden goes to Sydney!

By special request, Karen is running a weekend of garden classes and workshops for children and parents in Sydney.

Karen Sutherland has been growing food since the age of 8, and has worked designing and making gardens for the last 25 years.
